Well, this semester is over...i am so glad....i ended up with a B in nurs 201 and an A in advanced biology. I have always been good in the bios i made A's in all of them....i guess i love how the body works...I have aquired 85 hours in all...OMG. My GPA was good...i really dread this next semester...we have 18 clinicals, all of them in B'ham.....oh well....I will survive...i am going to go and see if i can get a student loan to compensate me not working as much....well, I am going to bed...Kaylee went to spend the week with her mother so it is quiet and clean around here...c-ya!

I have been home from work for about 2 hours. I went over to my sisters to eat some spaghetti, it was good. I got to see at least one of my great nephews....he is so cute. I am tired. I will have to work in the morning, then get busy studying my psych stuff. I really like it.....really didn't like the way it was presented but I will survive. Going to bed. Well, today is the day of the try-outs...Kaylee is not so nervous. I hope she does well. She wants to have a small party for her birthday. It is on the 6th but I am off at night this week-end so it might be one of those nights. She wants to make it family...so we can meet her "boyfriend" Aaron...I had to promise her I would be nice, but i don't know about her other family members. Her daddy has already met him, as for her Uncle Scott now that will be a different story. I told her he is a grown man, can't control him. She also wants to invite her Uncle charles and Aunt Candy Sue, and Jon Paul ( they are constantly ribbing each other) but I think they may have another party to go to. I guess we will cook out and have cake and ice cream...we will see. Gotta go and wash some things and try to clean my house some...yeah right!

Seeing the "LIGHT" at the end of the tunnel....

I am finally seeing an end to this nursing school thing....I had a wonderful clinical today...got to remove a jp drain...I see what they mean about learning by doing....I had to go to the doc myself Wed. I got a shot of abx and steroids...respiratory infection.....I feel so much better. Kaylee is going out for cheerleading...I know the cheers almost as well as she does...=O} Well, my sister is on her way over here to watch...it is nice to be able to call family and they come right over...she has pictures of her vacation, that is the main reason....=o} Write more later...C-YA!

I am just returning home from work...it is 12:30...boy am I tired....I am checing my email and thought I would post some of the new pictures of Braden and Carson...and some of carson on her birthday....

Well, I passed my D&C test. Talk about being shocked...I was! We could only miss 3 and well I missed 1 (96)...I was so totally sure I had not passed it and was ready to re-take it. It was the critical care...God is good. I am through with my B'ham and Shelby clinicals and will start my med/surg next Thurs. i am excited about them. They say the guy that will be our instructor is great....makes learning fun...we will see. Well, I am going to go and go to bed I just got home from work (12:30) ouch!!! I will write more later, I remember my password now....C-YA!

Well, I did my first OB clinical for this semester. I really liked it compared to last semester, it is still not what i want to do but...all in all I enjoyed it. I took care of the mother and this was her third child, so needless to say she really didn't need too much from me. I did a full assessment on her and really surprised myself...Ms Munoz is a good teacher....well, I am going to go and go to WM. Somebody stole my coat Wed. night and I am going to see if I can buy another one. More later...C-YA!
